fixBLM is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit social welfare organization started by members of the Powder River Sportsmen's Club in Baker City, Oregon.
fixBLM publishes an online petition, signed by people who were willing to pay two dollars to show their support for the fixBLM Mission.
Donations are undesignated. fixBLM operates a single General Fund. Our financial policy is published in our Bylaws. Regular financial reports are published HERE.
A 501(c)(4) corporation is permitted by law to make unlimited expenditures to advertise, publicize, educate, advocate, promote, and lobby, and is also permitted by law to spend up to 40% of its annual budget on indirect or direct political action.

fixBLM will hold six public meetings each year, duly noticed on this website. The Board and the Executive Director are empowered and authorized to conduct actions necessary for pursuit and achievement of the fixBLM Mission. The Executive Director and the Board of Directors are not empowered to alter or expand the fixBLM Mission nor to take unauthorized independent actions on behalf of fixBLM.
