Why does it cost money to sign this Petition?
Free online petitions are meaningless because bots and odd people add thousands of fake signatures every day.

Is my donation tax deductible?
No. Your donation is tax-exempt to fixBLM, but not tax deductible to you. No problem, it's only $2.

Why is the maximum allowed donation $90?
Nonprofits are required to file in every state where business is conducted, plus federal reports. In many states, the identity and occupation of each donor who contributes more than $100 may need to be reported. If no donor ever contributes more than $100, we never have to report identifying information, and we never will. In addition to protecting privacy, this reduces our administrative workload.
